The Hurt Locker bomb suit film costume...

The Hurt Locker is a fantastically compelling movie directed by Kathryn Bigelow, about an elite U.S. Army bomb disposal squad serving in Iraq and this bomb suit body armour movie costume plays a pivotal role in the film.

Optimus Prime and Autobot vehicles from Transformers 2...

To celebrate the opening week of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen you could find the original Optimus Prime and Autobot vehicles from the movie outside the Cinerama Dome and ArcLight Hollywood cinema in L.A.

These actual cars and trucks used in the film were on display from Tuesday June 23 until Sunday June 28, 2009 and it was spectacular to see them in person. This collection of images were photographed on June 23 and 25, 2009.

Most impressive of all was to see Autobot leader Optimus Prime in his Peterbilt Model-379 truck mode, especially with the iconic Autobot insignia adorning his hood.

This is the actual truck that drives out the back of a military aircraft at the beginning of the film and then transforms into Optimus Prime robot-mode before he hits the ground.

The future looks uncertain for Ironhide to return in Transformers 3 in this vehicle mode, as General Motors announced they were ceasing production of his truck's model just weeks before Revenge of the Fallen opened in cinemas at the end of June 2009.
