Underground TV costumes on display...

Set in 1850s Georgia, WGN America's Underground Railroad drama follows a group of escaped black plantation slaves try to reclaim their freedom hundreds of miles away in the North, whilst America is on the brink of Civil War making their efforts even more treacherous. The series was cancelled after its second season.

I believe these costumes are from the sophomore season of Underground and they were photographed on display at Downtown L.A.'s FIDM Museum on August 23, 2017.

Karyn Wagner was Costume Designer on the historical drama with help from Assistant Costume Designers Emily Batson and Lenka Padysakova and Costume Supervisor Isabela Braga.

If you like these outfits, you may also want to check out these period costumes from the Roots TV remake.
